Meeting Minutes

Meeting start time: 7:30 PM

NOTE: A full quorum was not met: no voting or actions took place.

1. Jack Armstrong from the Unitarian Church could not make it but he provided samples for the stairs (gray in color and made of a plastic material)  and the sign. Also a picture of the shingles to be used.

2. 203 Mountain Street request for demolition:  David Martin, Reese Schroeder, Gordon Hughes and Shirley Schofield will meet at property next Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 3:00 PM to review condition.

3. David Martin showed a package that was presented to the fire dept. by Mr. Bud Rose, who restored Sharon's first ladder truck. He lives in Canada and wants to sell it.  Maybe CPC funds?  There would be a lot of logistic issue.  David will discuss with Board of Selectmen.

4. Reese volunteered to individually print up our last inventory survey so we can present them to each owner.

5. Susan Rich and Reese Schroeder discussed developing Standards for Historic Districts for the Historical Commission, to eventually be available on the Town web site.

6. Susan Rich and Reese Schroeder discussed assembling the presentation of Phase II Property Inventories for next Town Meeting.

7. Elections and historic preservation award discussions are on hold until our next meeting.
